Timber Edge Farm provides both Western and English hunt seat/jumping lessons.

Shannon Sellers has been giving lessons here at Timber Edge Farm since September of 2005. She comes here with over thirty years of riding experience and is an active member of the Wayne DuPage Hunt Club in Wayne , Illinois .

Kelly Nehring has been giving lessons for over 15 years and has over thirty years of experience. From trail riding and showing Western, English Saddle Seat, and Arabian Native Costume, she is knowledgeable in many facets of the equine sport. She has been an active 4-H leader for the past 9 years concentrating her efforts on helping the youth develop a positive self-image by the rewarding relationship gained between horse and rider.

In both programs, you will gain balance, rhythm, and self-confidence. You will learn about basic horse care, anatomy, grooming, proper tack, etiquette, and sportsmanship. You will develop a relationship with your horse and be able to read him as well as he can read you, thus being able to work together to accomplish your goals.
